SISTERS WITHOUT BORDERS (SWB)

Strategic objectives

Sisters Without Borders (SWB) is a network of women leaders from different organizations championing peace and security in their communities and country. The network which began in Kenya in 2014 has since grown to include three more countries within the region. These include Uganda, Tanzania, Ethiopia and Djibouti. The members of SWB range from peace builders and human rights activist, who utilize different tools and mechanisms to promote sustainable peace in their communities.

Mission statement
SWB exists to amplify the voices of women and girls in advocating for effective engagement and consideration of inclusive gender aspects & policies in peace building, security through networking, advocacy and strategic partnerships.
Vision Statement
A world where women and girls spearhead peace and security in Africa Strategic objectives
