Dialogue on Cohesion, peace and Security

Garissa county has experienced an enormous share of insecurities resulting from inter communal clashes, banditry and terrorism. The latest clashes being between Abdallah and Abduwaq clans which immensely affected especially young men, women and children resulting in a large number of the population being IDPs in their own home county while others lost their lives. Following the conflict, Sisters Without Borders a platform on women led organizations in peace and security hosted a one-day dialogue with various stakeholders including leaders and women. The dialogue aimed at strengthening the understanding of women as agents of peace & harmony and identifying early warning signs of radicalization.
